2023 Hudson River Race (Pursuit Race)

NOTE: SI's revised Oct 5.  The only change is to the course lengths on page 2.  No other changes. 

The Hudson River Race was first run in 2010. Since its inception and subsequent inclusion in the Hudson River Yacht Racing Association series, the race has become a fall classic. Taking place on the Tappan Zee and Haverstraw Bay the race features courses, up to 20 miles, with challenging wind and current conditions. 

The 2023 edition will feature the introduction of a pursuit format. Boats will set out in a staggered start based on their PHRF handicap. In this format the first boat to cross the line will be the winner with no further time correction applied.

Entry Fee includes: Breakfast and snacks/refreshments after racing.

No registration will be accepted after 21:00 on Friday, 10/6/2023.  Registration: $75 inclusive.
