Jillian H. contacted Nyack about paving. Milling of Gedney will occur Tuesday, June 27, but should not interfere with Jr. Sailing arrival or dismissal. Should be no problem for Tuesday Ideal racing either. When the village contacts Jillian about paving, we'll provide a further update -- but paving will involve closing Gedney (and Lydecker) for an entire day. On paving day, Jr. Sail will do their arrival and/or dismissal at the Nyack Marina parking lot, and have their sailors go on foot between the Club and Marina lot.
Plan your visit to Nyack Boat Club (59 Gedney St.) accordingly.
Road Work to Start Week of June 26, 2023
June 27 & 28, 2023 - Gedney Street, Lydecker Street, Upper Main Street and Pine Street are scheduled for road milling. The milling process is scheduled to last two days. Roads will be reopened immediately following - please drive carefully over milled roads. The construction is scheduled to start on Gedney St, then Lydecker St and possibly Upper Main Street on June 27, 2023. Work will continue on June 28 on Upper Main Street (if necessary) and Pine Street.
June 30 & July 3, 2023 - Roads will be paved in the order listed above. Paving is expected to last two days. Please follow road closures and detours in the village. After the paving, roads will remain blocked for several hours until the pavement is drivable.

Gedney Street and Lydecker Street residents may use the marina lot, at no charge, on paving day. Any cars on the road after 7am will be towed.
Pine Street & Upper Main Street residents may find parking, courtesy of the Nyack School District, at the Nyack Middle School and side streets.
EXACT PAVING DATES WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS AVAILABLE. ROAD CONSTRUCTION IS WEATHER DEPENDENT AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
