Club Kayak Program Safety Orienation Provisional

This is the first of a few safety orientations to enable members to use club-owned kayaks. Safety orientation is required in order to use the kayaks. If you are unable to attend this orientation, there will be others in the future.

Important Kayak Program Information:

1. Only members may use the kayaks, including seasonal members. Non-members/guests are not permitted to use them.
2. Only a regular membership includes family members. Seasonal memberships are individual membership only.  The family of regular, voting club members may use a kayak, including spouse and children as follows: children under age 21; children under age 16 and over age 11 only if accompanied by an adult member; and children under 11 years old are not permitted to use the kayaks.  
3. You must supply and wear your own life jacket.
4. Every person (including eligible family members) must participate in a safety orientation to use the kayaks.   We will record each person's orientation participation in their Sailing Club Manager member record. 
5. Kayaks must be reserved online  through Sailing Club Manager, and only members who have participated in a safety orientation will have access to the kayak reservation module.
