The Nyack Boat Club is one of the most active & vibrant sailing and sailboat racing clubs in the tri-state area.  

Every season skippers look for and need sailors to complete their crew.  Crew sizes vary from two to ten, our boats range from 18 feet to 50 feet.  Skippers look for crew with some sailing and racing experience, availability to show up regularly, and commitment to the team.

From May to October, we run active racing programs Wednesday evenings, Sunday afternoons, and weekend regattas.  2025 Racing Calendar:

• For Wednesday evening races we have as many as 20 boats on the starting line in our PHRF Handicap fleet:
• One-design fleets are out on Sunday afternoons: Ensign, Ideal 18, Sonar, Thistle, and the PHRF fleet too. 
• Weekend regattas for all fleets from May through October, including regional and national events -- equal part keen competition and great parties.  And many skippers (and crew) compete in "away" regattas throughout the region.

NBC racing is serious sailing fun that continues post-race on our Club patio and at the NBC Pub and Galley.
