Learn the 2025-2028 Racing Rules Webinar with Dave Dellenbaugh

18th November, 8:00pm - 9:30pm

Don't be caught by surprise when the 2025-2028 racing rules go into effect on January 1! This new four-part webinar will give you an in-depth explanation of all the significant changes in the new rulebook.

Learn how the new rules change your rights and obligations in relation to mark-room, obstructions, contact, barging, proper course, tacking in the zone, hailing for room to tack, and more. Plus we'll cover all the reorganized rules about protest and hearing procedure!

The four sessions are scheduled as follows:
November 18 New Rules A
November 25 New Rules B
December 2 Brain Teasers!
December 9 Questions & Answers

The first two sessions will explain the 2025-2028 rule changes in detail. Part 3 will check your understanding of the new (and old) rules using lots of quizzes. Part 4 will be a detailed Q&A about the most relevant questions that have been asked (but not yet answered) during the webinar.

The goal of this webinar is to 1) explain in detail what's different in the new rulebook; and 2) build your confidence about sailing under the new rules for the next four years!
This four-part webinar begins Monday, November 18, at 8:00 pm EST (GMT -5) and continues on the following three Mondays. The series is geared to both skippers and crew, and each session is about 90 minutes long with video, diagrams, animations, and quizzes.

Includes: A) four live webinars; B) a link to a Google document with all the webinar Quizzes and Q&As; and C) unlimited access to the REPLAYS of all sessions (in case you miss any or would like to review them later).

The NBC Member discounted cost is $30. The deadline to sign up is 10/9/2024.
