Rules Racing will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2021-2024,the prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association, the Rules of the Nyack Boat Club, Class & Fleet rules, and the Sailing Instructions.
Fleets Cruising (Spin and Non-Spin), Ensign, Ideal 18, Lightning, Open, Sonar, Thistle
Eligibility The races are open to all members or guests of fleets of the Nyack Boat Club. At least three boats from a fleet must be present for the fleet to receive starts.
Equipment Each boat must be equipped with all of the safety gear required by its class rules and Club rules.
Note On-the water lunch is advisable, a full day of racing is planned.
Ideal Skippers If you intend to register as an Ideal Class entrant and you encounter a problem in that no Ideal boat choice is presented to you, please reach out to Ken Kolkebeck by email.
