Private Sailing Lessons » Private Lesson Request July 29 - Aug 2

You are requesting and paying for private 2-hour sailing lessons with an NBC-designated instructor during the designated week.  Lesson times are generally only available on weekdays to start between 9 am. and 2:30 p.m.  Lessons are for one adult, active club member only (regular or seasonal member) and are intended to provide basic sailing instruction only on a club Ideal 18 sailboat (no flying spinnakers).  

2-hour sailing lessons cost $100.  [Separately, 2024 Ideal 18 Fleet members may schedule private lessons with the Ideal 18 DoS as part of their Ideal 18 Learn-to-Sail program.]

You may request and pay for up to three lessons during each week listed (book YOUR FIRST first, YOUR SECOND second, etc.).  Once you've completed your request(s), instructors will be in contact to finalize your lesson time. 

You may reschedule with 24 hour notice.  Your instructor may reschedule your lesson due to conditions. 

Please remember to bring your own PFD (life jacket) which you are required to wear at all times.  Dress appropriately with adequate sun protection.  Your lesson is two hours from meeting at the club dock until you return -- bring little additional gear as there is little stowage aboard, and be sure anything you bring can get wet or go overboard (including yourself).
