Private Sailing Lessons for Members

Nyack Boat Club offers members the opportunity to request private sailing lessons with a club-designated instructor on a club-designated Ideal 18 sailboat.  We schedule 2-hour sailing lesson session, generally when boats are not committed to Ideal 18 fleet activities: generally weekdays betweein 9 am and 4 pm, from about Memorial Day to Labor Day. 

These private sailing lessons are availabe only to adult members (voting member or seasonal member, age 21 or older),.  Lessons are only one-on-one (so only one member student in the boat) and intended to focus on basic sailing skills with jib and main only (no flying spinnakers).
